Jeremy Rutherford has served on the Board of Directors for the Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum Foundation since 2020. He served as Vice-Chair 2024-2025 and as Chair from 2025 – present. He has served on the Anderson Abruzzo ABQ International Balloon Museum Board of Trustees since 2024.

Tom Rutherford served in the New Mexico State Senate for 24 years and was Majority Floor Leader when he retired at the end of 1996. He was subsequently elected as one of five Bernalillo County Commissioners. He served two four-year terms and represented the Commission as a member of the NM Association of Counties and the National Association of Counties Boards of Directors.
